We arrived in Rehoboth Beach this afternoon! Our first stop was the turkle pond preserve in Milton to let Murphy burn off a little energy... After a nice walk (us) and run (Murph), we headed over to Rehoboth to set up camp at Big Oaks Camground and then hopped on our bikes for a spin over to the beach...
It's a cute little town once you get off of route 1 and head down to the water...
It's a tough one to explain... a little bit of Hampton Beach, Atlantic City with just enough Venice Beach thrown in... We took a little tour of the beach.... Then put our toes in the Atlantic...
And now for the real fun! We headed over to Scott's own personal heaven... The Dogfish Head Brew Pub! Yum! After a few delicious beers and some yummy crab dip and pizza, we biked back to the RV (With two 750 mL bottles of "Wrath of Pecant") to save some energy for another exciting day in Delaware tomorrow...
All in all a great day...

Today was a bit of driving, a bit of dog exercise, unbuttoning the RV, a little more exercise, then a stop by one of my personal Meccas to end the day.
After we got to the RV park, we had to do a few new things we hadn't done before: namely hook it up to the city water system and unfurl the 17ft awning on the passenger side. I am truly getting a kick out of getting in touch with my redneck side. Carolynn almost lost an ear as one of the awning poles slid down and clipped the side of her head. FYI - it's still attached - I checked. And so is Carolynn's ear. :) Looking forward to voiding the holding tanks in a few days... UGH!

So, on to the end of the day... I kept a coaster from the Dogfish Head Brewpub. As quoted from the Atlanta Journal Constitution, it reads "A Mecca for beer geeks". That it was indeed. There was one offering in pareticular (which I gladly accepted) that called to me. It was a new beer - only two weeks old - called Voodoo Down. It's a full-bodied, well-balanced, boozy, imperial stout that was created years ago in the head of DFH's founder, Sam Calgione. He is a huge music fan - especially jazz - and wanted to release a kick-a$$ beer in homage to Miles Davis, and his song Miles Runs the Voodoo Down on his album Bitches Brew. According to the bartender and my buddy Joe, this beer made the cut at the brewpub and will be released to the larger public in August. It was renamed and will hit the market as Bitches Brew. Do yourself a favor and get some! We plan on returning to DFH tomorrow to further explore other "alternatives"... stay tuned.
